A lot of times producers use generic sounds for screams and gunshots and other sounds they want for a song, movie or tv show. Various sound bytes are recorded and compiled on CD and sold to editors and producers for their own use royalty free. Both 2pac and daft punk used this same generic sound for their songs as nothing more than background noise to convey the image of a busy street. 'Suge shot me' is a myth that built on itself and seems like it was done on purpose, especially when you hear interviews where 2pac talks about hidden things on beatles records, but it wasnt intentional at all it was just generic street noise and at the beginning it has the 'suge shot me' snippet. Its hard to say what was actually being said here, but it was recorded and sold as a street noise sound effect recorded in 1989. The people saying its a sample of daft punk's da funk video are half right, but actually it was a generic sound sample that was used by both daft punk and 2pac. The soundbyte is called 'very busy sidewalk' and it is on 'Cititrax sound effects volume 1' from hollywood edge sound effects library.

At the same time, he chose to call his new album “Makaveli: The Don Killuminati, 7 Day Theory”. But this LP would prove to be his last, he was gunned down shortly before its release.

Kevin Max, regarding the news clip at the beginning of Live & Die, that was originally on Watch Ya Mouth, and I guess Pac like it so it was moved when Watch Ya Mouth was left off the album in mastering (He disses Nas numerous times on this track too. Puffy and Biggie get the brunt of the verbal abuse because duh, but Mobb Deep and Jay-Z, among others, are tossed into the mix. Then Pac lets his friends have the ball, and E.D.I. Mean uses it to attack Xzibit, weirdly, because of Alvin's dismissal of people “only in the rap game.for the money and the fame” on his 1996 single “Paparazzi”. Which is definitely a strange target, since going against what X says makes you sound like an materialistic sellout asshole (not that X hasn't sold out, but that's a story for another time), and especially because in no way was Alvin going after The Outlawz, but you bet your dick the dude goes there. Anyway, I never really liked this piss-poor posse cut, and not just because the title makes no grammatical sense, but Pac's pitbull-level ferocity is firing on all cylinders: it's clear that he recorded not just this song, but everything on, in a single take, and didn't even bother to edit because he just did not fucking care. Oh, and because the quicker this album got released to store shelves, the faster he would be off of his contract with Death Row.
